GABRIEL SUBERVIOLA - Award-winning Winemaker
Few people know more about making wines from Spain's most celebrated grapes than Winemaker, Gabriel Suberviola. Gabriel joined Freixenet in 1980 and has risen to become Head of Winemaking for the Ferrer family's Segura Viudas (International Winery of the Year, Wine & Spirits) and René Barbier (#1 Spanish white wine in the US) wineries. He recently received the 2006 GranVinItaly, the top award of the VinItaly international wine competition in recognition of his consistently high scoring wines.
