Set in California, the six episodes of "THE WINE MAKERS" takes viewers inside the most storied beverage on earth. The stakes are high as this diverse group of men and women are plunged head first into one of the most uniquely challenging yet rewarding professions in the world. Candidates will experience every aspect of wine making from viticulture and enology to sales and marketing, but only one will launch their own wine label nationwide.
A “Who’s Who” in the world of food and wine make up the team of experts, including winemakers, educators, columnists and culinary celebrities. This seasoned group of professionals will put together true-to-life challenges the candidates must face as they compete for the title of wine maker.
The first season of "THE WINE MAKERS" is scheduled to begin airing September 2009.
